first_imgShare Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest We are mostly sunny and very warm again today. Clouds will try and increase late this afternoon over the northern part of the state, but we still see temps well above normal. This will be the last day of that.  Overnight tonight we cant rule out a couple of scattered showers in the northern half to third of the state, but only with 40% coverage or less. Tomorrow, lingering showers can be seen from US 20 north through midday, but they will fade quickly in late morning. We expect to return to dry, sunny weather for the balance of tomorrow and then all of Friday, but with cooler temperatures. We are partly sunny Saturday. So, for the rest of this week, we really have little to no threat of moisture over the majority of the state.Clouds increase Saturday night, and then scattered showers develop through the day on Sunday. The moisture is not very impressive for Sunday, limited to a few hundredths to perhaps half an inch. But, we see a second surge of moisture up the front for Monday that brings rains from .25″-.75″ to 80% of Ohio. Then on Tuesday we still see some lingering rains in the far south and east of the state, and clouds over the eastern half, while we start to get better sunshine in the western half of the state. We are going drier for Wednesday and Thursday, but the previous moisture we were seeing is lurking not too far to the south…so we need to continue to monitor the situation for midweek next week.10 day rain totalsThe extended 11-16 day period is a bit drier this morning. We see partly to mostly sunny skies for Friday the 11th through Sunday the 13th. Monday the 14th can bring a few scattered showers from US 30 northward, but nothing south. We cant rule out a shower or two with otherwise cloudy to partly sunny skies for Tuesday the 15th, but we are mostly sunny to finish the extended period on Wednesday the 16th.last_img read more
